Imagine stepping out of darkness, hiding, and shame! My desire is to create an atmosphere where shame disappears and vulnerability can occur. You are not the things you do! In counseling my goal is to give you the space to explore the roots of this addiction.
What can you expect from counseling?
- Building rapport and trust in the theraputic relationship and the process that I will lead you in.
- Gathering a full history. We are looking for the underlying causes of this addiction in your life. By the end of this assessment you will walk away with an understanding of the root causes and steps we can take to over come them.

We will create a plan specific for you and work through ways to gain sobriety and target the roots of the addiction.
We will do the deep healing work that your specific roots need for lasting freedom. Your spiritual and cultural needs will be assessed and implemented.
We will work toward healing relationships that have been damaged along the way.
Throughout counseling we will identify supportive factors and external sources for the recovery process. Many clients find Celebrate Recovery or SA to be positive peer led supports. At times other therapy groups will benefit the individual.
